Local boy wins top dance course position

THEO CANNING, 9 from Dunmow, has won a place at The Royal Ballet Lower School, in London. Amazingly, Theo only began ballet dancing around half-a-year-ago and was whittled down to the final 6 out of 1,200 contestants/hopefuls.

He will begin in September, training once a week on a strict regime and he hopes that he will become a full-time student at The Richard Park Academy once he reaches the required minimum age of 11.

Local Stansted High School is now in Vertical Tutoring

The Mountfitchet Maths & Computing College is now in Vertical tutoring. This means that the registration period will be taken with students from Years 7-11. The system began at the end of May half-term, at the departure of Year 11 students.

More on this later on, plus a quote is a possibility from the Head Teacher, or the school itself.
