Station roadworks continue
STANSTED RAILWAY STATION continues to house roadworks this week.
The roadworks near the station and the road leading up to it, have been causing traffic disruptions and also obstructions to pedestrians and commuters for over a week now.
The roadworks are not showing signs of any movement.

Local boy wins top dance course position
THEO CANNING, 9 from Dunmow, has won a place at The Royal Ballet Lower School, in London. Amazingly, Theo only began ballet dancing around half-a-year-ago and was whittled down to the final 6 out of 1,200 contestants/hopefuls.
He will begin in September, training once a week on a strict regime and he hopes that he will become a full-time student at The Richard Park Academy once he reaches the required minimum age of 11.

TOXIC WASTE dumped in STANSTED carpark
The toxic waste rusty metal drum was dumped at Stansted's Lower Street car park, where their has been fly tipping, quite recently.

Local Stansted High School is now in Vertical Tutoring
The Mountfitchet Maths & Computing College is now in Vertical tutoring. This means that the registration period will be taken with students from Years 7-11. The system began at the end of May half-term, at the departure of Year 11 students.
